Mi experiencia aquí fue excepcional. Haber tenido la oportunidad de estar en este sitio los ultimos dias de mi estadia en Argentina fue lo mejor. Debido a las bajas temperaturas, el trabajo consistio principalmente en cortar leña, el cual me gustó mucho ya que dusfruto trabajar con madera. Traslasierra es un sitio encantador, lleno de buena vibra y tranquilidad. La parte mas dificil de este workaway fue despedirme, me voy con mi corazón lleno de haber tenido la oportunidad de conocer a Beto y Magda el cual son personas excepcionales. Gracias por todo, y espero que nuestros caminos se crucen de nuevo en un futuro no muy lejano. One Love! My experience here was exceptional. Having the opportunity to be in this place the last days of my stay in Argentina was the best. Due to the low temperatures, the work consisted mainly of cutting firewood, which I really liked since I enjoy working with wood. Traslasierra is a charming place, full of good vibes and tranquility. The most difficult part of this workaway was saying goodbye. I leave with a full heart, I am very fortunate to have met Beto y Magda who are exceptional human beings. Thank you for everything, and I hope our paths cross again in the not too distant future. One Love!

Well, I spent over 2 quite remarkable months at Andreas´ garden, it was my first workaway experience! The garden is simply jaw-dropping, despite of being located in the middle of Hillerød. It´s immense, therefore there´s always some stuff to do and Andreas is really flexible when it comes to the work schedule. I got to meet loads of people, including his friends and family. I´ll never forget the day when Carlos took care of me when I got sick (he did some magic and I was fine the next day!) and the Filipino cuisine. We´ve also been to a musical and a couple of events, I got to hang out with other workawayers: Andreia, Iván, Cecily, Gab, Paula and Micko the Couchsurfer :D It was quite an usual experience to wake up to the sound of the piano or to eat soups for breakfast! I would definitely recommend him as a host, he´s a witty guy and I can assure you: you´ll never get bored! He´s the craziest guy in town Thanks for a great time and see you soon :)

I spent two weeks with Lilly and Ivan, both wonderful, warm and generous people. I had my own room in the volunteer house and was committed to their garden: Weeding and building support structures for veggies, selecting new seedlings, direct sowing, creating a herb garden, picking cherries and mulberries from their 90-year old tree, as well as enjoying the wider landscape and forest with its abundance of wild strawberries. On my first day I helped Ivan extracting honey from the beehive, my first! There is so much more growing on their land that will be ready later in the season, old peach and plum tree varieties, hazelnuts, and the mushroom season on its way! This is a paradise for anyone who enjoys working historic, lush and fertile land! Thank you for this opportunity to learn and for the deep insights into the Croatian way of life.

Thank you so much Eniko for coming our way! It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you and sharing a little bit of life with you. It was brief but we were very fortunate that you were able to come. Thank you for all of your help while you were here, its wonderful to have extra helping hands especially when they are accompanied by a person who wants to do things well with a generous and gentle attitude. For hosts, if you are considering inviting Eniko to come to your place we can wholeheartedly recommend that you do. She showed herself to be diligent, independent and responsable. An excellent communicator she is a delight to be around, and an interesting person to converse with. We wish you all the best and hope to see you back this way soon! In the meantime, happy trails!!

Me voy llenita de experiencias recuerdos, es un gran lugar para llegar y hacer de este mundo algo mejor, realmente le apuestan a la autogestión de recursos, mis primeras experiencias de escalar, visitar un castillo, aprender ulaula, nudos tomateros, (Ballestrinque) cayac... Cada uno en la familia son adorables espíritus y sumale mmmm el alimento vejetariono o Homnivoro es exquisito, tradicional y compartido con mucho cariño, queda la semilla sembrada de una bella amistad, nos veremos en el futuro, hasta siempre bella familia.

Absolutely wonderful! I had such an incredible time with Andy and Michelle - both are kind, interesting and adventures people who were joys to be around. They made such an effort to get to know me and make sure I had a great stay. This was my first workaway experience and has definitely set the bar high. Their property is lovely and the work was very doable and the area was great- lots of public transport making it easy to explore. I miss Michelle's cooking!!

Margot es una chica maravillosa que se ha adaptado estupendamente a nuestra familia. Es muy respetuosa, responsable y discreta. Estamos muy contentos de haber disfrutado de su compañía durante 1 mes. Gracias Margot y seguro que nos volvemos a ver muy pronto.

It was a very last minute decision for us to do our workaway but we definitely made the right decision to stay with Liza and Alex. They made us feel very welcome from the offset and were happy to teach us everything they could. We spent two weeks with them and I wish it could have been longer. Unfortunately my friend Ricky was a bit ill during the stay but they were very accommodating which meant a lot to him. We managed to do gardening work, tile waxing and started to make the stone tile roof for the swing. Alex was a very funny guy and Liza made delicious food for us! We also spent some time playing with Lucy who is adorable and Samuel as well when he wasn't at school. I had a great stay! Thank you again from both of us for everything!! Sam and Ricky

Sammy & Dino are very mature for their age, easy to get along with; quick to grasp a skill, I never have to repeat myself twice. They are very efficient, prompt, tidy, clean and extremely polite. I enjoyed their stay very much and together we have achieved a lot of work in the garden. Last but not least they are always similing. Their stay has been a pleasant experience.

We are so happy and grateful to have met Laurie! She was really easy to get along with, have nice conversations and it was simply very enjoyable to be in her company. She helped us a lot with the garden and the animals and also cooked delicious food. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather. She made it possible for us to go away for two weekends, finding it very easy to trust her. She never complained and was super eager to help with anything. All in all, a really lovely human being. I am looking forward to meeting you again, somewhere, for sure. All the best, and feel welcome to come to the hill anytime!

Wow! What a fantastic experience having Felix and Jenni stay with us. In their late 20's, they both have really calm and positive personalities and a terrific work ethic. They were an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Initially Felix and Jenni came for a fortnight to help us get on top of our large overgrown gardens. We cleared a couple of trailer loads of weeds, dug over the gardens, spread 6 metres of organic fertiliser, mulched the entire front and back gardens, paved a back area, and built a greenhouse over the new paving. Felix and Jenni also spoiled us by sharing the cooking. They are excellent cooks and we had some delicious European meals. All the while, Felix and Jenni had a fun time - going out with new friends, playing beach volleyball with a group of South Americans they'd met, went to a concert, did a couple of side trips to country Victoria, did a 20km bike ride along the Barwon River bike trails, and went for walks with our ageing kelpie dog Misty. After 2 weeks we invited them to stay longer which suited them. A further 3 weeks down the track Felix and Jenni had demolished and rebuilt two patio roofs to precision measurements, painted the new timber with primer sealer and two coats of colour, and completed the building drawings for the new structures. Felix and Jenni were exceptional guests and we highly recommend them to other Workaway hosts. Our home remains open to them at any time on their travels.

Hello, I hope my opinion is helpful in your choice. This was my first experience for volunteer work, I was in Villa F for 1 month, first of all, I must say that my accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and the staff there were polite and guided you to do things, in your free time. You can enjoy the unique view and walk. Rest assured you will be at peace and have a great time there, all in all I have to thank Emin Ali for giving me this experience and I hope to be able to go there again in the future.

Outstanding worker and organizer. Will alway have a room at the resort if she travels through Panama in the future.

So much to say! Mia Julie and her parents are some of the kindest, most hospitable people you will ever meet -- some may even call them the royalty of Spissøy! Working on the farm is an incredible experience; something completely different from my daily life but not so challenging to adjust to that I felt uncomfortable or lost. If you are looking for a morning filled with gardening, painting, walking around the woods and fishing followed by a hearty lunch with a splendid family (who are happy to introduce you to plenty of traditional Norwegian dishes -- Trine's meatballs are a personal favorite), then this is the place for you. Not to mention, the scenery on and around the island is positively spectacular! We couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better host, and we left with new friends and a deep appreciation for real local fjord life looks like. Thank you, Mia Julie, Erling, and Trine!

I stayed about two weeks in Falkenhain in the manor house and really enjoyed my time there. Amanda and Daniel are very nice and interesting people (I spent more time with Amanda with whom I was able to have varied and very interesting conversations). Their farting dog Rocky, who made me laugh a lot, is very endearing. I enjoyed the work on offer, which was varied, and I clearly couldn't see the time passing. You manage your own time and work independently, but Amanda is always there if you have a problem or need help. And you won't get bored, there's plenty to do! I also really liked the way Amanda and Daniel work on a big project like this, always prepare the tasks the day before, planning several scenarios according to different factors, anticipating as much as possible, always working in a good mood even if things don't go as planned... So I learned a lot thanks to them, and I thank you for that. I wish you all the best for this beautiful project and I'll be very interested to know how it evolves!

I am truly grateful for my time spent at the sanctuary. I really admire the love and care that Carmen and Rafa showed towards the animals. They work tirelessly and little Rafa Jr always wants to be part of the team! Even though my Spanish was very basic, they were very patient and guided and helped me with the various tasks I needed to do. As I continue my workaway journey and move on to new adventures, I take with me fond memories of the animals and will miss them all. Thanks to Carmen and Rafa for their kindness and care for me while I was there. I send my best wishes to all.

I had the pleasure of working at Sharom's hostel in Melaka for two weeks and it was a fantastic experience. From the start, I felt very comfortable and quickly found my routine. In the mornings, we did the tasks in the hostel, followed by different activities like going to the gym, exploring the city, or hiking on beautiful trails. In the afternoons, while we waited for guests to check-in, I always had enough time to do my remote job. The shared meals and activities were a great way to dive deep into the local culture. The hostel has a very social atmosphere and it always felt like home. The guests were also wonderful, often leading to group activities. Sharom is a friendly and helpful host. We had many friendly and trusting conversations, which made the stay even better. I would definitely come back if I am near Melaka again. Melaka itself is a beautiful city, especially on weekends when the night markets are open – a must-see! I highly recommend this hostel and the experience with Sharom. Thank you for the great time!

Alicja stayed for less than two weeks but she did an amazing amount of work! Cleaning, sorting, planting and chopping wood all the while being her sunny, happy, helpful self. If you're lucky enough to hear from her, just say yes (especially if you're near a beach with warm clear water)

I worked here for two months. Trisha, Lin, and Tan are very friendly. You will generally work with Lin and sometimes with Trisha. They both did their best to make sure my stay was comfortable. The work itself is easy and can be completed in 3 hours. Lin and Trisha help you when there are many check-outs. So you don't feel stressed or pressured. Taiping is a small town with great food. The Food Court just across from the hostel is the best one. There are some attractions you can go to during your stay. It's a nice place to chill and enjoy a slow life. Thanks a lot for everything, for making me feel at home, and for the fun conversations & laughter we shared. I will come back to visit you one day. ;)

Laryssa and Luke were such a great help to me, walking, feeding and caring for my dogs and bungalow in the local town of Kuraburi. They both fitted in well to local life of Kuraburi, and were well liked by the local community. They shopped and ate local and, this is very much appreciated by the shop and market owners. They were very independent, and were able to manage their schedule very well, and notified me of any problems with the dogs or bungalow in a timely manner. Luke is very handy and knows a lot about mechanical, woodwork and all aspects of building work. They are both very friendly and willing to help with any tasks requested. I recommend them for any project you may have.
